 Paulina Rodriguez Busquets

Paulina Rodríguez Busquets is a Puerto Rican soprano and a recent graduate of the Boston Conservatory at Berklee, where she earned a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance with an emphasis in Opera in 2023. Born and raised in Puerto Rico, she moved to the United States at the age of 13—an experience that deepened her passion for music and the performing arts. She currently resides in Puerto Rico, studying with renowned soprano Hilda Ramos.

Paulina has quickly established herself as a versatile and dynamic artist, known for her rich vocal timbre, expressive interpretations, and commitment to creating immersive musical experiences. Throughout her academic career, she performed a wide range of roles that showcased both her vocal ability and dramatic depth. In 2023, she performed the role of Susanna in Le Nozze di Figaro with Chicago Summer Opera and portrayed scenes from Adina in L’elisir d’Amore with Boston Conservatory Opera. She also covered the role of Mrs. Hayes in Susannah and took part in opera scenes with Opera Lucca.

This summer, Paulina is thrilled to make her debut with Teatro Grattacielo and Camerata di Bardi, where she will be singing in the world premiere of the opera The Tin Angel by Daniel Asia and performing the lead role of Susanna in Le Nozze di Figaro for the second time. Whether in leading roles or ensemble performances, her artistry is defined by a deep emotional connection to her characters and her ability to engage audiences on a personal level.
